Lunchtime Helper Volunteers Needed
On-Campus Volunteer Opportunity
Gavilan Peak School
Gavilan Peak is immediately looking for volunteers to help with lunchroom/lunch recess monitoring between the hours of 11:00 am - 12:30 pm daily. We could use 1-2 volunteers each day. Any help during this time is appreciated; it doesn't have to be for the entire block. You must be DVUSD volunteer trained. If you are not volunteer trained click here for training info and upcoming dates.
As a lunchtime helper you will be
- Monitoring the lunchroom making sure our kiddos follow the rules and provide any help as needed.
- Helping with light cleaning to get the lunchroom ready for the next group.
- Monitoring lunchtime recess. Recess is outdoors (generally) so please come well hydrated and prepared for the weather.
- Making a difference at your child's school!
