PTO CLASSROOM GRANTS
The Gavilan Peak PTO is pleased to offer Classroom Grants for the 2023/2024 school year! We understand that many of you purchase materials for our children’s classroom with your own money and we want to help. This is not intended to replace the classroom requests at the beginning or throughout the school year.
Classroom Grant Details:
This Grant entitles the bearer to a maximum reimbursement of $150 for your instructional area at Gavilan Peak Elementary School.
Covered expenses include anything used in the classroom, such as: paid classroom visitor appearances/demonstrations, classroom parties, classroom books, classroom supplies, & teaching materials.
Classroom Grants may be pooled to purchase equipment or presentations shared between classrooms.
This Grant may not be used for teacher professional development, gift cards, tokens of appreciation toward classroom visitors or volunteers, or for any other purpose inconsistent with our Organization’s tax exemption under section501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Equipment and unused consumables purchased with this Classroom Grant remain the property of Gavilan Peak Elementary School.
All receipts must be submitted at one time or may be broken into no more than two increments up to the amount of the grant.
How to submit for reimbursement:
Please fill out the reimbursement form below at your earlist convenience, but no later than 5/15/24. Pictures of original receipts or electronic receipts dated between 6/1/23-4/30/24 are required for PTO accounting records. Please email gavilanpeakpto@gmail.com with any questions.
