How to Become a Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to stay involved with the school, meet new people and show your kids and teachers how much you care!

Throughout the year the PTO will need volunteers to help us with events and other school projects. Your teacher may also periodically ask parents to volunteer as needed. If you will be volunteering during school hours while children are on campus, you must attend a DVUSD Volunteer Training. These trainings are offered throughout the year at different locations. They are free and you do not need to sign up ahead of time for a training. Volunteer training typically last less than 1 hour.
