What is Peak Week?
Peak Week is a week focused on school spirit, character-building activities centered around our P.E.A.K. values, friendly competition, and fundraising.
Students will be divided into Red and Gold teams within their classrooms. Throughout the week they will compete to earn points for their team by completing activities, fundraising and participating in a Fun Run.
Your student will bring home a Red or Gold sheet so you know which team they are on for registration. Please email gavilanpeakpto@gmail.com or their teacher if you are unsure their team assignment.
What are we fundraising for?
Outdoor Learning Spaces & Campus Beautification
This multi-phase fundraising project involves the transformation of the Quads to make these spaces more usable for students. Ground cover improvements like turf, hardscape, and concrete pads under tables can give our students a place to learn outdoors and thrive!
Teacher/Classroom Resources & Staff Support
The PTO supports staff and students throughout the year with teacher grants, classroom supplies, and facility improvements to help cover budget shortfalls.

How can I donate or get involved?
On Monday, October 27th your student will bring home a fundraising letter inviting you to register on our Fundraising platform and a Peak Week Ticket they will return after sending 10+ emails. We will also send an email on that day containing the fundraising details. If you are unsure if your student is on the Red or Gold team please email their homeroom teacher or gavilanpeakpto@gmail.com.

- KICK-OFF ASSEMBLY - 8:30am
-POSITIVE: Chalk the Walk! - Create positive messages and drawings throughout campus.Tuesday, Nov 4
- ENGAGED: Community Engagement Activity - Students will create letters/drawing for member of our Anthem Community including Sherrif/Police, Firefighters, and Nursing Homes.
Wednesday, Nov 5
- ACCOUNTABLE: All School Fun Run! Students will participate in a Fun Run and earn points for their team while having fun and trying their best!
Thursday, Nov 6
- KIND: GP Kindness Pledge - Students will read and discuss the GP Kindness pledge in class and sign a large banner to be displayed in the MPR.
Friday, Nov 7
- FUNDRAISING AND PEAK WEEK TEAM WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

The grade that fundraises the most per student wins a Barro’s Pizza party for their whole grade at school!

The top fundraiser in each grade wins a Chick-Fil-A lunch at school with 1 classmate of their choice and the principal!
Great Wolf Lodge or DJi Mini 3 Drone
The top fundraising individual in the school wins their choice of a $300 Gift Card to Great Wolf Lodge or a DJI Mini 3 Drone (or similar).
